Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Any way, if you want a long term relationship...better try and not put some one down.
Good Luck
Oh, and to answer your question, no I do not put people down.
i'm sorry
It was a hard habit to break, but I got better during my marriage(yeah that helped)
I think it's because my dad used to do that to me. Maybe that's why I do it. Actually, my dad still does this to me, but I have grown up and moved out years ago so I don't have to deal with it as much any more.
I am trying to get better at not doing this and I think the Prozac that I just started taking is helping me be more mellow. I feel horrible about it, actually. I know I sound like a jerk when I talk that way. I also think part of it is depression and being unhappy with my life and taking it out on him.
As for low self esteem, that must be it! I better start working on myself and stop blaming my disorder or others!!!
Thanks everyone!!!
