Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

You can't control other people, chug. You just can't....which is good news, because you are also not responsible for what anyone else says or does, but you.
Bad news, because you still have to put up with their BS....and I JUST realized something recently that I think will help immensely:
When anyone else criticizes or judges you, or ANYONE else, they are really talking about THEIR OWN issues, not yours.
Simply listen carefully to what they are saying and reflect it back to them.
I learned this recently, when a friend of mine was going to stop by my house and take be to Bible study unawares. Although I knew her intentions were good, I told her never to do that. She said, you mean, even if it's the right thing? I went on to explain that because of abuse, I do not like to be forced to do anything. (Not even things that are good for you?) I said, no.
The conversation went on, to I must be able to find myself some kind of job I can do, and that the new pastor is trained in counseling, and that I should be tithing my $240/mo gift income from my sister.
Upon reflection, I realized that every one of her points, were things that were applicable to her, not me. Even if they did match me, they were still also HER issues, not mine.
If you can take that to heart, it will help you heal and not be hurt by other people's words and behavior.
The hard thing is, that means you need also to focus 100% on your issues, and deal with them.
You can do it. That is what we are all here to help each other do.
