When it has been me hiding behind that blanket, I have found it helps to push myself a bit. Yeah, I am scared hopeless, but... Courage is not the absence of fear. It is the facing of fear.
But, today it is not me. It is you. Can I pray you find what works for you?
I have been there and it is awful. Once my wife, while crashing from speed, ran out of the house sure that a plane was going to crash into the house. She was yelling and screaming but the neighbors were used to that from us. At least we weren't fighting.
I usually get a major fear but not so debilitating. This is a great time to take a nerve calming med like Xanax. If not I would smoke some pot if I still smoked pot. I believe this is the best time to do such a thing. But then pot also adds to paranoia so that may be a very stupid sort of advice.
Try to forget the dream contents and put the content out of your mind.
I find doing something other than thinking about my anxiety helps. Simple things like watching TV or surfing the web move my mind onto something else and the anxiety subsides. Good luck.

I'm going through a situation with HR, my supervisor, FMLA, etc. that if I am still going through a medication adjustment (2-3 mos) that they will need to put me at another job because I need to meet the demand of the department I am on. In other words I'm a casualty of this mixed state and medication battle.
I know TMI. Sorry all just frustrated.
i'm sorry you're feeling like this today, but you're not alone. i hope you feel better soon.
