i LOVE the snow. makes the gloomy days better. much better than ice. i can take the frigid temps with the snow down too. plus, snow is like pennies from heaven for us. joe gets LOADS of overtime.

I like the snow and don't mind the closing or delays. To me it is a welcome change from the norm. I prefer to have 4 seasons - I love to watch the changes. Lived in Florida for 8 years. Liked the warm weather but grew tired of the same thing all year round except for the occassional change in the winter.

I'm from Texas, but I settled up here in New England after I left the Navy, just for the diversity of weather and people. Every time I get tired of one thing, it changes. Snow is great for my hobbies, my reading and my cooking so no complaints here. Besides, it is certainly great if you have a suitable cuddle partner, even if it's just a dog or cat.

I love the snow. My best memories are of cold winter nights when the power was out, the ground covered with snow and the whole family sitting around the kitchen table in the light of an oil lamp. We would talk and play board games. No eletronic distractions.

Quiet cold and snowy winter mornings at my grandma's house, sipping coffee and watching the bluejays and cardnals in the bare trees.

Steaming cups of hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream steaming on the table when my sisters and I got home from school, or when we came in from playing in the fluffy cold snow on those rare days school was closed.

The crisp clean white blanket covering everything, everywhere tucking in nature for a long winter rest, waiting for spring.

The soft winter moonshine brightening the nights, the clouds in the sky closing out the stars, the great expanse of the universe, closing the world down to the soft glow of moonlight and the sparkle of untouched snow on the ground.

I felt so safe and warm then, cozy and peaceful. They are memories of a time when things were simple, times before I lost my mind.

If the snow is falling slow, almost romantically, I love it.

If the wind is whipping and it's white-out conditions, I can do without it,

I shoveled twice yesterday and need to do it again, so right now I am anti-snow, LOL!!!!

I hate to drive in the snow and on snowpacked, icey roads. Scares me to death. I would love to live in AZ where it doesn't snow like Tucson or Phoenix. I like the warm, dry weather.

it used to be really depressing until I started getting really stoned with my best friends and started playing in the snow. Thats fun.

In Canada, that's all we seem to get in the winter. I am so sick of it already!

i love the snow....looking at day 11 out of the last 12 with it, or more, I've lost track. at least 8 days in a row of it.

I love the snow. Waking up to the pine trees covered with snow.. We used to have a summer house in the mountain in NY and the pipes would freeze and we'd go out and get snow and boil it for cooking and bathing. It didn't get brown and slushy b/c we were in the country.
