my son just arrived up to me with two pancakes and a cappuchino just when the hunger pangs were shouting a bit louder and last nights coffee was a bit cold! a lovely surprise!

The day has just begun here.... but my four legged little love jumped in bed so excited to see me. Then proceeded to sprawl out and go back to sleep. She makes me laugh. (And by little love, I mean that she is part German Shepherd and pushing me out of my bed.)

I managed to get downstairs and washed all the dishes, made a pot of coffee and am back in my room with Mo, gearoid's (son) dog, snuggled at my feet. now she is little, i think a fox terrier and very cute! she hesitates each night between doors to choose which of us she will sleep with - it works out about even except when wolfgang is here, she's too funny. she knows he doesn't believe in dogs on beds!!!! so she keeps away!

my little gremlin actually left me alone/allowed me to cook breakfast! so i had sausage gravy and biscuits which i love but never have time to prepare. plus i got to hear him singing/babbling along to the whatever song was playing on daniel tiger's neighbourhood. or maybe he was talking to daniel tiger rather than singing along, who knows with babies. but it's cute.

My little sister (24) who is pregnant just showed up for coffee and breakfast. She and her hubby are letting me go to the fair with them. That's exciting.

I just had some lovely, crusty bread toasted with marmalade and a cup of java..... Just before that I went for a walk with Rascal and picked up a book at one of the free little libraries

Had a couple cups of coffee and curled up with Harry, my burley black cat, and now it's off to drop the kids off at my sister's and get the house cleaned before mom comes back from Arizona tomorrow.

Lately it's the new kitty and how cuddly she is. She just expresses so much love and it brings me comfort when I'm sad.

Church was very good, we went out for lunch with a couple of friends after. Then, we saw our grandkids before they move out of town. That is always a blessing!

The sun just came up here. Celebrating my daughters 43rd birthday today. Will do a BBQ and cake and such. First, cable guy is coming over and turning on free cable thanks to the apartment owners. Fun day! And happy holiday USA.

Pancakes here too! My husband made me pancakes and, not only that, he had the kitchen pretty much cleaned up and the boys were "fed" too. They also decided they wanted some of our pancakes and then had strawberries and yogurt. It was like their stomachs have no bottom.
