Continue to stick up for your friends and members. hugs
But this one, it didn't just attack this one member (which was bad enough), it attacked our whole community.
I'm much more irritable than usual, and I partook in the thread briefly. It's just really pissing me off for some reason.
1) Is it truthful?
2) Is it kind?
3) Is it necessary?
Using these as a guideline have served me well and reminded me of each person's intrinsic value.

A couple moved in and one of the "nosey" neighbors found out he had amolestation charge against him. She spread the word to the whole neighborhood.
There was no mention of when, what the charge actually involved, or how long ago... nothing.
I am completely against such things, most certainly, but without proof, or details, how am i to judge? Did you know that juries have found teenagers in high school guilty of molestation? Based on the fact that one was 18 and the other 16 and they had intimate relations? Anyway, the guy lost his girlfriend, job, and any chance he had of starting over... based on something that was never proven to be true, or even researched properly. Now that neighbor is avoided by everyone for fear that she might point the proverbial finger at them.
I guess my point is, accusations are harmful... not only to the person being accused, but to those that do the accusing. I try not to judge someone based on other people's opinions.
