For a Ketamine clinical trial! After finding out I'm eligible. Now only to wait.............. Thank you for whoever made the post about entering one. You gave me the idea to research it, and it turns out there are some being conducted locally.
I had no idea this was even a thing. How wonderful.
I have no idea how I'll be able to afford it if I end up getting it prescribed for long-term use after the clinical trial ends, if I'm even selected for it. And I'm worried about the bladder damage side effect, but after some research it looks like it's only present in chronic and heavy ketamine abusers....

Since Ketamine is also used as an anesthesia { and I had a surgery last year }
I did some research on Ketamine and bipolar.
If you tend towards depression, it gives almost immediate relief .
Although in rare occasions it can cause dissasociative episodes
Make sure you give a complete history of your episodes to the clinician before you start
Wishing you good luck !
Read a NY Times article about it:

seems like it has a reason to get our hopes up! Good luck to you in this trial please keep us in the loop if it helps or doesn't.
Brave of you to just go forward!
