What do you guys think of 'for some reason, I didn't sleep a wink all night, and I can't function today'? (mania)

Here are some of my excuses I have used!

Fell from my tree and fractured my ribs.

I am in the hospital lock down unit.

It is raining and I want to enjoy the rain.....my boss didn't like that one a single bit.

Someone shot my dog and I am at an all night pet clinic, it turned out no one shot my dog instead he was running circles in the yard and ran into a metal bold on a stupid dog run. The bolt punctured his whole coat.

Once when I worked as an Orderly in a Home for Developing Disabled I called the place drunk and told a nurse I had Hepatitis but would be in the next day.

I'm dying, but all I had was a damn cold.

Yep.

tell them the voices in your head have told u that work is evil and that u need the day off in order to keep them undercontrol or they will rule the world.

Remember the old sickness one can be used several times a year. Just keep count of your grandparents otherwise you will be saying all 12 of your grandparents have died.

I pull the "Mysterious illness" when I simply CANNOT go to school. It includes headache, dizziness, fatiuge, shortness of breath and badly shaking hands.

Unfortunately I do get like this sometimes and I don't know why. The sad part is i'm usually glad cause it means I get a break and get to sleep extra.

At school when I get bad grades because lack of sleep, I like to let the teacher know it's cause was up till 6 AM that morning trying to sleep, cause I lost my sleeping pills.

And I DID lose my sleeping pills. 6 months ago. lol....

Or there is always "Woman issues"...male bosses do not like to touch that!

Otherwise, many companies have FMLA set up on an intermittent basis...no reason needed.

God, I remember when I worked, I had to write down my excuses to use a different one. I even had granparents die off. I had to remember which ones..
That is why I am on SSDI.. I used heart attacks of families, kids sick a lot.. Etc.. Good luck..

For male bosses you have to be very blunt and descriptive when you talk about womans issues. Say things like cottage cheese stinky period over flowing with blood.

That is good for once a year. Maybe twice.
