should i go in the hospital

In the last week depression has taken over. On librium, tegretal thorzim, nurotin. No antidepressants. I have a doc appt on18. Should I wait. Cut myself twice.

Do you feel like you would be safe at home? Have you called the crisis line? If you feel like ur gonna harm yourself, yes, I would go to the hospital.

I hope you keep safe and find some helpful things soon that aren't self-destructive. My guts churn a little every time I hear of pain like this and I wish I knew more to help, but the best I can do is care about you and wish you the very best.

Hi Angie,

As Rosie, Moobs and Sunny said if being at home puts you risk for further danger then going to the hospital is probably a good idea....

However, can we make a contract that you come here first and post before taking matters into you're own hands?

Don't wait. Call crisis line to see what you need to do. I agree with rosiestorm. If you don't take care of yourself first no one else will. Please get help. You are worth it and you deserve it.
