I suffered from a 2 week long deep depression isolating myself and destroying my sleeping and eating habits I've worked on the past few months. I realize now I should have checked myself in then and there, this all still new to me.
I'm feeling ok now, getting back in touch with my family and friends, etc... I feel can't get back into my eating and sleeping habits by myself.
Would it be a good idea to go in as an inpatient for a couple days to help fix my eat/sleep habits? Is this something normally done for BPs? Will it benefit me?

i like to think in-patient is a `last measure' type of thing, and can usually find a better method to address what ails me 99% of the time.
talk to your psychiatrist. ask about all your options. glad you're slowly coming back from that awful dark place, and i wish you much healing.
Maybe a change in meds might help pull you the rest of the way out of your depression.
I'm sorry you got hit with that, but I'm glad you're doing somewhat better now!!!
Good luck!!! I hope you're feeling all the way better, soon!!!
(((((Hugs)))))
