Shopping For TV what's the better deal?

Should I get basic dish on 1 TV but if you want it on more than 1 TV it's 5 dollars extra per TV...and get 120 channels....save 50 dollars when you first sign up-25 for the first year then it goes up 15 dollars after that or extended basic cable through Atlantic broad band the family pack 35 dollars for the first year then it goes up ten dollars more after that. and you get up to 75 channels plus three more bonus channels. And you can have it on three TV's for tree. I kinda like the fact that dish would be 5 dollars cheaper at the end of the 2 year contract. Could get an extra TV added on to dish for the extra money that we would save. I like the fact that with dish there is more channels....but I don't really understand what is the better deal?

I also have cable, but it matters where you are and what you want. Do you get by already with just one TV? If not then pay for a second or third TV.

Your TV will get snowy when the weather is bad. But that isn't much, I lose cable often with power outs. Yesterday was the closest time. If you are in a lightening prone area make sure your TV, DVR, Etc are all on a good surge protector.

We have a surge protector. We have 4 TV's one in each room. But if we get Dish on all TV's it cost 15 dollars extra for the three TV's to have service. I really like the fact that there is more channels on Dish. But I wonder if there are more Disney Channels. All I really care about is the disney and the nickelodeon anyway because I have kids. My hubby cares about the sports channel. I'm just wondering what would be the better deal. I think having more channels would be the better deal because there's disney then there's disney XD. But I don't know what's what anymore I been out of the loop for so long.

Also if you get dish everyone has to watch the same channel you can't watch different channels like you can on cable.

Um no you dont have to watch the same thing on every channel unless dish has changed in the last 18 months since I last had it

i've had both cable and dish and dish is better...the extra $5 per tv is so that you don't have to watch the same thing on each tv. my cable is far less reliable than my dish ever was...of course there was that one time the ex had to thaw the ice off the dish with a hairdryer...

We do not have cable & do not really watch TV.. We do however have faster than most people cable internet and a wireless modem & multiple PCs that we all use & we tend to watch things online & will hook up everything to this huge projector we have, so our wall is like a movie theatre..

You can watch Hannah Montana I am sure through some site - have you tried tvshack.cc? (my husband says though to be careful with that one) or quicksilverscreen.com?

We used to literally have every cable channel because my husband worked for Timewarner.. But we haven't now for a few years & don't really miss it. Our TVs are used for a playstation & another for a dvd player.. We have an Xbox 360 we hook up to that projector, fun times..

But yea - there is life without cable :-P

I manage to get all my tv viewing in without cable or dish - when the bills needed trimming that luxurary was the first to go

We just recently moved and dish wasn't available so we had to get cable. I don't get as many channels and in the long run(after the special is up in 6 months) it's going to cost me more to have cable than the dish. I would get the dish if I were you.

I have 5 TV's in 5 rooms, one is always on depending on which room I am in. I don't pay a dime for the extra TV's. But with HBO I still pay around $125 a month. I have to start cutting back because I just don't have that sort of money coming in anymore.

I wonder if computer TV is any good?

Oh, my cable also pays for my phone and cable internet.

    Happy Tuesday. I only have a few tasks today. I'm currently enjoying my coffee and checking social media and emails. It's gonna be almost 90 degrees today so I have to monitor the dogs outside activities  How's Tuesday looking for you?
