My bipolar daughter got angry with me and slammed a textbook on my head, then she picked up another textbook and slammed it on my head, and then she picked up my handbag and slammed it on my head. I was lying on my bed having a discussing with her over something that she lied about. I didn't see it coming. It's disturbing.

Woke up feeling very emotional and about to clock in at my place of employment. And can't place it all in writing but not been a good experience with my store manager or his boss. Defamation of my character is a concern. I've been losing appetite and weight. Trying to perform at work to keep myself from hospitalization as a result of toxic masculinity.

I think it would do her good to be held accountable for her actions personally....
Bipolar disorder is never an excuse for terrible behaviour trese.... If someone assaulted me they'd be arrested...

If for instance she was charged via the legal system for her criminal behaviour she would have to face the music that she brought on herself
The courts aren't all about punishment... They are about taking responsibility for your actions though... If she has an untreated illness then perhaps therapy and seeing a psych could be part of her sentence..
I don't think anything will change if you don't let her fall and pick herself up... Face what she needs to...
I've worked a lot with teens and allowing this behaviour to continue will just continue to hurt you both so much....I really feel your pain...I do...I just believe that changes will have to happen for changes to happen...
Big hug for you...x
