She might not make it

My sister in law who has been like my only sister since I was 12 is battling leukemia. two days ago she had a stroke and the next day a heart attack. She is so weak they can't do any of the cancer treatments on her right now if ever. She currently has blood clots on her brain from the heart attack and they have started a blood thinner. My brother won't leave her side and  my mom won't leave his. He is so afraid. They never had children and have been the center of each others world for so many years. I have cried and prayed and feel so heay hearted. If I ever had an actual reason to be depressed this is it. She is getting worse every day and they can't do anything right now. Please, if you pray, pray for my family during this time of need. Thanks.

Oh I am so sorry that you and your family are struggling in this way. I can't help but be struck by the love in your family though...He won't leave her side, his mother won't leave her, you have a sister in law that is like your own. You are one blessed person. I do pray that God allows her to stay here - but if He calls her home early you will get through this. What an incredible picture of love you have painted for us...thank you! Update- she was able to sit up in bed today. They are starting physical therapy in bed for a week and if nothing else bad happens they can start the treatments for the leukemia in a week. They did say it is a very aggressive type and she has about three months if the treatments don't work. Thanks so much for everyone who has thought of us and send wishes and prayers. We are still hanging in there and praying every day. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family but I'm just not ready to let her go yet. Thanks again.
