There are times when dealing with the ever changing emotional states that comes with this illness that I would like to post what swims around in this brain of mine. The reasons for this are two fold.
1) As the old adage goes: A problem shared is a problem halved. And
2) By being able to read what I've written and by reading some of the responses to what I've written, I can see the irrationality thoughts or feelings and put them better into perspective.
Here is my dilemma:
I share this board with my life partner(The gods willing), most of you know who that is.
As a result of that, there are many times I don't feel as though I can use the boards the way that I would like too. My main concern is that things that I may share that are going on inside my head my trigger anxiety, fear and or depression in my partner.
Though 90% of what goes on in there may have nothing to do with her directly and in most likely hood have a 0% chance of coming to fruition, they can be easily misunderstood and reacted too.
I do understand this is why there are other forums out there that ask partners not to join the same sight, as well as the difficulty that occurs if the partners break up.
I wonder how many others here share this site with their partners and how the deal with this difficulty and how they have overcome it if they have.
Thanks Wiccan

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

I don't share with my BF.... if I have something that I need to share with him, I tell him directly.....
I just don't want some of the internal battle I fight to trigger emotions within her ie. insecurities, doubts, fears ect.
All the best

WE {ALL HERE IN THIS GROUP } are all diagnosed as being
" BIPOLAR "
and with US being bipolar , mood swings go with that too.
Ok...THAT so that is a given.
What some people say out loud should just stay in their mind. or can't atm....
especially people who aren't on their right meds ect...
WE ALL HAVE TO REMEMBER SHIT HAPPENS.:}
People have mood swings, people say things they shouldn't at the right or wrong time.
So we should all just accept one another as we are and Deal with it.
My opinion. ~
Make up and move on if ur other takes a thing the wrong way , deal with it in public or deal with it at home either way U have to THINK about it. OR remove urself from it...
Good Luck & Just my thoughts { AT THIS MOMENT :}
Always Silky ~ :}
