I have a question. I was diagnosised in July with BP.At that time the pdoc said that I only needed to see a therapist for a couple of visits until I was comfortable with BP and I had a support system set up. I did see a therapist for 5 visits, but we did not click. We never covered anything about BP or how to cope, so I have stopped seeing her. Has anyone ever heard that once you are medicated that you do not need to see a therapist? Any comments would be great.
