Decreased feeling around the mouth; dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth; headache; increased appetite; increased saliva production; indigestion; joint aches; restlessness; taste changes; tiredness; trouble sleeping; upset stomach; vomiting; weight gain.

Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur when using Saphris:

My anxiety is much better after not taking it for 24 hours!!!!!!!

I SWEAR I have had multiple heart attacks and strokes after 3 weeks of 20mg's and went off it yesterday. The detox is killing me. GOD BLESS YOU!

I took it. It caused head aches and severe tinnitus (ringing ears.) the kind that you can't hear any thing else and makes you feel like you are in a tunnel. Plus all I did was sleep most of the time any how. I don't want to sleep more. I want to be alive.

i take it, but only at night because it is so sedative to me. but I have not had any other side effects at this time. I think you should see doc and stop taking it as recommended by him/her. Stopping on your own is sometimes asking for worse side effects with some meds.

All antipsychotics like risperdal, abilify,etc give me heart problems. I can not take them at all and it is scary as hell.

Well, I am on day 3 of Saphris. It has greatly exacerbated my RLS at night, but it is getting better. It does not taste as bad as I thought it would either. I am doing ok with it. Still too soon to tell though. We shall see. Sorry, to answer your question dear, no, I have not had any anxiety or heart issues from it thus far.

After a week and a half on Saphris, I am discontinuing it. I am feeling ghastly, moody with either too much sleep or not enough. I am going back on Risperdal full time. I just feel so badly it did not work out. But my Mother, whom I live with, has noticed I am not myself at all since starting the Saphris. I take her observations seriously. So, bye bye to Saphris.
