This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Some of you know that I live in a personal care facility and have had problems (of course, there are problems wherever you go).I've been wanting to leave but that would necessitate a meeting with the trustees of the trust fund my late boyfriend established for me.Some people don't understand that the money is controlled and administered by a bank,I just can't get money whenever I want,a committee has to approve it.If they say no to financing a move for me,I'll feel stuck, and I don't think I could live that way.
The depressive side of my illness has gotten much worse.I'm trying to build a support system since I got out of the hospital.Of late,"Carla",the facility's owner, has been having trouble keeping employees and has been filling in at times while she looks for new ones.I've started helping out around the house, trying to make the best of it.My tdoc Ken joked that I've become a volunteer in my own home LOL.
I'm trying to hang on but don't know how much longer I can.I'm so sick of talking about this and nothing ever changing except to get worse.I want to cry at least and get rid of some of the built-up pressure but thanks to my meds I can't even do that.

Are you wanting to move?... You've been talking about this for a while??...If you want to move then talk to the bank...Perhaps there is somewhere you can move to that has more privacy... You could always get a lawyer if you don't think the trust is being handled fairly.. There are options sweetie.. The trustees are accountable for their actions and they should be in your best interest while following what's laid out in the trust
