Sad today

We recently had to move to a rental and the owners of the complex wouldn't let us have my dog who is a chocolate lab. He's too big. Well, he left today to go to his new home and I'm devastated. I know this is O/T, but I guess I just need some sympathy and cheering up. I've had him for 5 yrs so it's very hard to lose him. Thanks.

Sorry about the loss of your dog and glad you found a good home for him. Time will make it easier to cope with your loss but for now just think about the fact that he's in a good home and safe.

I am truly sorry. I lost my best friend when an apt evicted me because he was too big. It's such a terrible loss. I hope another angel comes into your life though. Dogs are angels you know they are your baby, your best friend and confident. Peace.

I'm sorry. Years ago, my sister ran off to California, leaving behind her dachshund, Hollis, with me. She came back 4 months later, knocked up and originally was cool with me having Hollis. I was not about to give him up. After all, she just left him.

A few weeks into her being back she and I got into a huge fight about it and I refused to give him back. At this point she is living with my parents and I'm living alone. She froze me out most of her pregnancy until I decided to take the high road and give Hollis back. I wanted a relationship with my niece. I still miss him. I see him a lot but to me, he should still be my dog. So it sucks. I know how much it sucks.

I'm sorry but I am glad for you and your dog that he has a good home. Peace and hugs.
