I'm feeling sad tonight. I don't feel good mentally or physically. I hurt from arthritis. I DREAD going to work tomorrow. I am feeling depressed because of the holidays. New years Eve Is coming up. This is a really hard one. It always seems like everyone has someone to do be with or somewhere fun to go.  I'm always sad. It is hard. I guess I'm just out of sorts..

Sorry you are feeling sad. I have been alone on New Year's Eve so many years now. I don't think I have ever had someone to kiss on the night. I just treat it as one more night. I like to go to breakfast on New Year's mornings. I don't even stay up for the count down. It's always a little weird.
You're not alone in finding these times hard. I hope you can rev up your engines for work tomorrow

I don't generally go anywhere for New Years either. You are definitely not alone in these feelings. I treat it like any other day. I allow my kids to stay up that night but I don't. Like Mark I don't have anyone to kiss at midnight. We'll celebrate New Years together.

My mom died New Years Eve. It's always very emotional for me. It's very hard when you're feeling like that. I'm so sorry you're going through this right now. I do know how my emotions take over my life it seems. But it does pass. I do hope things get better for you very quickly.

Sorry you are having a difficult time with the holidays, tc. I'm sad too. Like others have mentioned here, I'm just treating it like another day, and I have to work early New Year's Day so will be concentrating on getting to sleep by 10pm.

I don't do much either.... My landlord is having a party so I'll make an appearance for half an hour and then disappear.... I can't take being around large groups of people.... I'll hang out with Rascal and a good book....Big hug TC.....xo
