You can't make someone say the things you need to hear when you need them most. You can't make someone hug you when there hugs feel empty. All I need is someone to hear me and love me and hug me. I am hurting and I feel alone. I miss my dad and mom. Life is too hard and I am not good at it.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
Within my own, strictly personal healing journey, I have often found that when I am focused on what I think I need, I am often over-looking functional solutions that are right in front of me. Just me. Strictly personal.
Continued support while you find your own, Bravered. I really do care, even though I don't know your specifics. You are not alone.
Perhaps one of more productive support groups I was ever part of was officially named, "Women Veterans Support Group," but my therapist later confessed, "Yes, you are all manic depressive, as well as being vets. "Manic Depressive" was the previous name for bi-polar. Not much has changed to my just-a-patient perception. except the name and med cocktails.
Within this support group, I was able to see more of my condition from the outside while learning to be supportive through the different phases of it. Girl howdy, that was an education I will never forget. I am much more patient with the limits of my loved ones since that education.
No moral to the story. Just sharing personal experience while I try to offer you support while you sort your own. It really is a snotty knot to unravel. . . A unique knot for each of us.
I was part of a support group for over 10 years I went to it after being hospitalized on the recommendation of a social worker. It really helped me to sort out how I managed or didn't manage in the world. I learned a lot of ways to cope from day to day...
I agree with Arfie this will take a lot of time to sort out and it takes time and space to really do that nothing is immediate... Medication doesn't work fast, anxiety can be tamed but it requires constant effort to keep it tamed, flareups happen all the time....The issue is what can you do everyday to keep yourself well? There isn't an easy answer....Love yourself hon none of this is easy!
Moobs I like that....very well put!
