Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I don't know if this should go in SZ or Bipolar. So I am testing it out in both:
sometimes when I am at peace i find I am so wavering about what to do with myself. I tend to start to ruminate and I am finding now that the process is a source of strength for me. I'd rather not do it - I think whether I do it or not, I think just knowing it is an important idea now.
I can vaselate really badly and have a hard time making up my mind.
I don;t know if anyone else has this trouble, I am glad I noticed this.
peace and thanks.

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

BUT I am very glad that you're feeling strength sweetie

Peace, M
I'm glad it's a source of strength for you, Mark.
Because I had alllllllll morning to Think about it, and that caused anxiety. Even when it Wasn't something I "should" be worried about.
When I would Promise (or close to it) to go somewhere "later in the week", or Next week, and it was something I wasn't Sure I wanted to go to, I would end up finding a Reason NOT to go. Like anxiety, or just something In me that got out-of-hand from thinking too much about it - you know?
Ruminating. Contemplating; mulling something over. Round and round and round....talking ourselves Into, and Out of, anything and everything.
(I love meditating now, and I do it with Purpose, but I try not to think of Anything while I'm doing it! lol)
Yes, sometimes, "thinking" can be my Worst enemy - if I already THINK I have a chance to think myself Out of something. :/
All kidding aside
I was impressed by the Link SunCloud put up.
Saying..."Think On The Worst Case Senerio"
And then realize in all likelihood , you'd be able to handle it !
Rumination...yea, I do that
we're all different. if it is a source of strength for you, then i am glad you do this, because strength is a precious commodity, and anything that brings my friends strength is awesome in my books!
I'm glad you are finding strength in this process.
I live that way. I have to jolt myself into the "NOW". I'm trying to get better at it. I found that dwelling on anything good or bad is not good for me. People always tell me I overthink stuff. I don't know how not to!
It's a struggle.
