People have been quiet lately and I'm missing the DS buddies.... How is everyone doing during this very difficult time?
Here it's been really cold and I have had a really hard time getting out... I'm always pretty reclusive but now it's worse... I am so glad that a vaccine(s) have now arrived soon to be given to the world
We are on in a lockdown mode and aren't supposed to go out unless it's for essentials however it's gotten too easy for me to want to be home.... I'm going to have to push myself when it's time to go out again
My mental health otherwise is okay... I little down... i get lost in books... They're my therapy... How is everyone else doing?
Sending big squishy hugs....xo

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

I'm heading over to the office for a couple of hours, and then my work week is done. I bought a new MacBook Pro for "work at home" yesterday and it should be here tomorrow so I'll have plenty to do setting that up.
This is the first week I've felt really good and not been sick in a long time, so I'm enjoying that and keeping fingers crossed. I'm going no where public and staying away from all the germy people! LOL
Have a great day all you lovely people!!!

I’m doing pretty well. I just got my nicotine patches in the mail today. Debating if I should put one on now or wait till I finish my vape pod today.
I also picked up a book I started a few months ago. Anne of Green Gables.
Still working on my course work and spending a lot of time at home of course.
I’m teaching Rocket to hold a treat on his nose and wait for it. He’s pretty smart!
Stay warm and safe tomorrow sweetie

I just got new car insurance. Saved $6.00 a month. I know that doesn't sound like much, but it does add up.
Congrats on the triplets. Take care of yourself.
Thanks Jan for the roll call. It's good to hear how everyone is doing.
I've been doing artistic stuff online.
I'm thinking of taking a course, but I'm not certain which one. Currently, I'm leaning towards editing. I'm concerned about the medications affecting my concentration and memory.
I started a new book that really resonates with my childhood. Here is a couple of points:
"Even if you have acquired new information that could be useful to you, you won’t have access to it during an overreaction unless you can calm yourself enough to access it."
"Parents who become agitated or take on their children’s anxieties are only adding to their children’s belief that feelings are dangerous. Rather than absorb a child’s emotional state, parents need to soothe the child and then help the child sort out feelings, fears, and possible solutions."
Siegel, Judith. Stop Overreacting: Effective Strategies for Calming Your Emotions (p. 23). New Harbinger Publications. Kindle Edition.
I'm motivated, and generally feel like my life is going in a good direction, finally.
Pretty sleepy today, but thats prob cause I stayed late and had to get up early for work this morning. I will try to go to bed earlier tonight.
But overall, I'm doing well. Hope everyone else is hanging in there as well.
