Can my posts on these message boards cost me a job possibly, or anything?
Like..... when I'm starting my professional career and lifestyle, I don't want clients/employers stumbling upon my musings somehow, someway, and thinking I'm some self-pitying, incompetent, immature individual.
Because I can be pretty responsible if I have to be, and engage in at least most of my tasks, depending.
But there's this stigma that you can't be both severely depressed/mentally ill and a very fierce businesswoman/man/person, and strong asset to whomever you're trying to get a job from.
Even though this is specifically a forum for the neurodivergent, could it be damaging to a reputation???
I mean... anyone can find anything about you on the internet.

So...don't have anything in the profile or post anything that could be used to find you. Many people put their e-mail address in their profile, some put their full real name. Remember that if you have a photo up anywhere on the net and use the same one elsewhere there are tools that will find that photo. That's how I find a number of scammers and I'bve had to tell a few people that they have used the same picture as their business website for DS.
