Re diagnosed as Bipolar yesterday it went from depression to cyclothymia to bipolar II to schizophrenia back to bipolar, the psych i saw said i was definitely Bipolar and not schizophrenic, she said the psychosis i experienced was due to extreme stress and it was my bodys way of coping and as i had them when depressed it was part of bipolar depressions.

I kinda knew that the diagnosis of schizophrenia was wrong, just had to wait for a compentant pdoc to notice the error.

Been given Valium to help with mania as i cant go on mood stabilzers or anti psychotics due to trying to get pregnant, my pdoc didnt want me on anything other than prozac and valium as they are safer for pregnancy.
