could i be having zyprexa withdrawals?

she took me off zyprexa, she said this med will calm my panic, racing thoughts and depression and she increased my lamotrigine. I hope this works I been really bad.


she told me to stop cold turkey I am not sleeping.

Seroquel is a tranquilizer. That will definitely calm you down.

Seroquel is pretty good at calming. It can have a drowsy side effect at first, but as your dose goes up towards your therapeutic level that wears off. Give it a chance and I hope that it helps calm down the rapid cycling.

I took 50 mg last night did not sleep through the night. I was told to stop the zyprexa so that may be why, most important I am not feeling that depressed.

I'm on Seroquel and have been on it for a long time... It works well for me.... I actually break up the dosage throughout the night as I don't sleep through either.... I take half extended release and half immediate release.... I'm glad that you aren't depressed.....xo

I thought Zyprexa and Seroquel were basically the same med, just different manufacturer? I think that is what my pdoc told me, a long time ago.

I will say Seroquel gave me TD and Zyprexa just made me gain weight.
