Last Summer I had a Nervous Breakdown. I was dealing with alot of Anger Issues and I wrote some racist remarks on one of my buildings staircase walls. I am not a racist and my mind was really fucked up. My mental state was really fucked up. Some people in the building know that i did it. Some do not. Everytime i leave my house i get nervous to say the least because i don't want to see *anyone* and when i return the same feeling arises. I was thinking of posting an apology letter stating that I have mental illness and that i had a nervous breakdown and that I lost control of my mental state. Also in the letter, I would say that I am being treated for my illness and take medication and seeing a psychiatrist. Also I would apologize twice in the letter, once in the begining and once at the end and state that I am not a racist. The letters would be placed in the laundry room and in the elevator of the building and in the staircase and the other staircase. Im having trouble deciding if this is a good idea. One of my friends said be careful cause this can be used against you. (the fact that you are revealing your mental illness) Of course I will not be signed the note and not putting my apartment number on it either.) When i first thought about this idea I really felt good about it though.
