Yes, sometimes we have "drama", it's a bipolar site...but there is also lots of support and love for each other.

Maybe your stableness will add to the group

If you see Topics that seem unstable or too dramatic for you...don't read them, or reply if you think you might be able to add something positive

Yes, stability is welcome. I'm also fairly stable - I had a recent bout of pretty bad depression, but that actually seems mostly sorted out now and I'm feeling pretty stable again. I post a good bit and don't feel bad about it, or like I'm gloating, because even if I might be having a decent time now, I can draw on past experiences to help, and at some point in the future I may not be having a good time and need the help of others to help me through a rough patch.

Of course you're welcome. This board is for everyone. There is not a sign outside that says "Stable stay out". Your stability and your continued recovery is a tribute to the hard work that you have put into it. People can learn from that. Of course you're welcome. Come in, pull up a chair and let your hair down for a bit. There might be some drama, but there are a whole lot of fun, caring people too.

There is absolutely a place for stable BPers here. Just think, if everyone left once they got to feeling better who would be there to offer support? This site is many things but I don't think "competitive" is one of them. I don't see folks competing to have the worst experience or folks lording stuff over on others. To me, it seems like we mostly hold hands and share. (Oh ..... and fight over who gets to dance with RichardModerate.) :)

I've learnt in my time that stable isn't something to ever take for granted.

Man..I just don't know. I think Carla hates stable people. When i told her I'd had years stable before physical pain started drivin' me a little nuts..she started over-billing me for sjitTy advice.

I think it's not the stability, but the sobriety that's gonna work against you here. We take a dim view of that stuff. OK..now..me. OK..not me..but..I had nowhere to go with that punchline.

Anywaaay..I'm fairly stable..and no one seems to hold it against me..though, I don't post much..unstable people scare me.

You do belong here...we all have stable moments and have learned to never take that for granted. We need the voice of reason sometimes...maybe you can lend that. I don't think anyone would discount your advice, just because you are doing well. Just as long as your not doing the "my way is the only way" to be/get healthy...we need all kinds...welcome.

Of course you're more then welcome here.. A lot of us are stable.. With BP there can be ups and down but many have been doing pretty well for quite some time including myself.. I'm as stable as I ever hope to be..smile..
Sometimes you're right there can be some drama.. it doesn't usually last too long though.. We have laughs .. give support and there are wonderful people here that offer their friendship generously...x
