I took Seroquel for a month or so...best sleep I ever had in my life.But I started having uncontrolable facial movements(UGH!).I don't remember the dosage,but I have a friend who takes 1000 mgs..yeah ,that's a lot..I don't think most people take that high of a dose.

I took it for about 2 weeks for sleep, my pdoc started me on 300mgs and told me to go to 400mgs if that wasnt working. All it did is make me feel heavy, like i couldnt move, and didnt help me sleep.

I took Seroquel and had wonderful sleep. However, I began experiencing involuntary muscle movement. I was up to 800mgs a night.

Its also known to cause terrible hallucinations and night terrors to people who are sensative to it.

I currently take 300mgs/night, then 100mg in the a.m. and another 100mg in the afternoon. I am able to fall asleep for at least four hours but anything after that, and it's the night terrors as was stated previously. It kind of a better trade than having nothing at all. I used to take it in conjunction with Trileptal (which sucks). Now it's with Lithium and I have to tell you, it's a great combination. Once you get used to the sleepy feeling and the dope munchies, it's pretty good. I only had the tremmors occasionally in the beginning until my body got used to the dose. Sorry, I ramble... you take the dose that is most effective for YOU - everyone is different. 100mg completely paralyzes me to the point I can barely breathe. I know some folks who take more than that. Have to watch your weight on it though....

750 mg with lamictal.

I work and I have had to change my hours, couldn't get up. But have to say no hangover feeling like diazapam. suffer memory loss though, and the leg spasms before sleep

Used to take 300 mgs just at night, now I take another 300 mgs. in the morning, too.
Never felt or slept better!

I am only on 25 mg at night. I am very sensitive to meds. I up it to 50 mg and was so groggy during the day that 25 is fine with me. I would go as far as it helps you. I feel calm and less voices so I am staying at 25 mg. Good luck

I but a 25 mg. tablet in half and only take that about an hour before going to bed. Anything else knocks me out.

I was on 200 mg but I stopped taking it and now am on ambien which is the best sleep ever.

Hey there. For a mood stabiliser, I took 400mgs. When I took it to help me sleep, I took 50 then 100mgs. You may get a bit tolerant to it & have to go up on the dosage. xo
