ok yesterday I met some people at the bus station. We were waiting for the bus and started talking. I don't usually advertise my condition or situation, how ever they kind of asked about it. I told them I was bi polar and my meds weren't working, all though recently I've been off of them for a long time.

So we all get on the bus and the guy says something about going to church, so I inform him that I am agnostic. Right away the woman I was talking to jumps out of her seat and comes back. They both tell me that, that is my problem. They then tell my I should stop taking my meds (when I just started them). Why on earth do religious people think this way? They would never tell a cancer patient to stop taking medications and rely only on god so why do they tell some one with a mental disorder to do it? Are they gonna take responsibility if their condition worsens or they commit suicide? Honestly if you aren't a doctor or a psychiatrist you shouldn't go around telling people to stop taking their meds!

Of course I just shook my head and agreed with them since the bus isn't exactly the place to have a religious debate, especially since my stop was coming up and the conversation wasn't likely to come to a conclusion before I got there.
