Personally I try not to google any side effects to decrease anxiety. Instead, if you have a good relationship with your psych and feel comfortable enough, call them if you find something feels off.

It can take a while to find the right combination of medications that work for you. It wasn't until trial number 4 that I finally found something that worked for my depression, anxiety, and hypomania without unmanageable side effects. Best wishes

It seems to always be a wait and see. My dr wanted to put me on lithium but I was terrified. I have it a chance and it’s been the best drug I’ve ever tried!

Both these meds work pretty quickly, so unlike many Psych meds, you'll notice a difference probably in a short time. I'd take the Seroquel at night because at lower doses it can make you sleepy. The Adderall is the opposite, its a Stimulant, so take it in the morning, so it doesn't keep you awake.

The only way to get over anxiety over taking the meds is just to take them. The sooner you do, the sooner you may feel better and have some relief from the symptoms your dealing with.

You just have to give them a chance to work.

I recently had an appointment where nothing was being changed despite of months that have been hard. I have had to tell myself that I trust my psychiatrist and this will be ok. The psychiatrist will be available along with my therapist if needed. I have had medication changes in the past and I do understand your concern about starting a new medication or possibly the interaction of medications. It is hard to set trust into your provider but that is just it. I try not to look up side effects of the medications I ask questions and if I don’t understand or have further questions down the road I asked the pharmacist and or my psychiatrist again before continuing. Can you have a scheduled check in with your psychiatrist outside regular appointment?

I get anxiety over med changes too. I have a sleeping pill (ambien) to take only as needed when going through changes ( med or just life related) and managing my sleep helps so so much. Best of luck. Once the right combos are found (yes, takes time...) things start to fall back into place.
