Does anyone take a prn that is not a benzo? I'm seeing my p doc this week and I'm going to ask for something for my anxiety. I've tried Valuim and Ativan in the past and both caused heart palps and shortness of breath so I'm guessing any other benzo would do the same thing. I've also tried Vistaril and Benadryl and both make me feel wired. I'm afraid I'm out of options.

Buspar is not a PRN, but it helps my anxiety
you took Ativan - my doc told me to be careful not to take it too randomly - he said - if you take it randomly and not in a kind of constancy it can cause some upheaval. Just food for thought. I hope you find a good solution.
