Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Does anyone else's mood tank when they've had surgery and start taking pain meds (opioids)? I feel just plain awful and in pain b/c I'm sure the pain meds are at the root of the problem. I'm afraid to take too much, too little, too often ... but this pain is unbearable. What if surgeons could put us in partial and temporary comas whilst our bodies heal? Yeah, I'd like that. 5 days in a coma. No pain meds, no mood fluctuations, no time worrying about how quickly (or not) I'm healing....just food for thought.

Which explains the mysterious fevers and my extra fatigue. I'm so glad I pushed for answers.

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

I'm hoping that by the end of the weekend, I'll feel like myself again!
So far, today is going alright.
Hope everyone has a great day!
As always I hope you get your desires. All the best.
