This is so embarrassing!! Yesterday when I brushed my teeth my gums became red and began to bleed a bit. Obviously this is early stage gingivitis. I know this because I brush my teeth only every few days. I know, it's disgusting. Z
the thing is, I shower every night. I put on clean clothes every morning. I brush my hair, use deodorant, and don makeup. I just hate brushing my teeth and I don't know why.
My next dental cleaning is the end of July. Do any of you have any tips or advice to help me?

It’s crucial. I heard this saying:
“If you don’t like your teeth, ignore them, they’ll go away”.
Maybe turn on your fav music every brush time. It would give a kind of prize to do it.
For example, I brush my teeth at the Same time every night and don't give myself time to overthink it.
I have to do that with showers too, sadly. Showering is stressful but if I shower on the Same days at the Same time they are easier.
I brush and use soft pics a couple of times a day
The same time every day is a good idea
If it bothers your mouth msybe use Sensidyne toothpaste
It might be worth trying what others have suggested sweetie...xo
I can’t get an earlier appointment with my dentist unfortunately but I have a friend who is a hygienist and she gave me some advice. So if I can just make a HUGE effort to brush twice a day I will feel better.
