Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Yes that sounds like exactly what I'm looking for! I'll have to ask my new therapist about it. I'm not sure what kind of stuff can be put in one but it sounds good. Thanks! :-)
Andrea,
The boyfriend thing is very frustrating for me. Bipolar runs in his family and I think his experiences with it prior to me may have warped his views a bit. In addition, I think he may actually be bipolar himself but he won't even consider that as a possibility. I think he's in denial about me because he's in denial about himself. Donno what to do there either, sigh.
Everyone on DS is great with advice and support. This is the best place I've found so far where I can be myself and no one thinks that I'm strange. Thank you for the response.
Hugs to you both,
Crystal
