I think Amazon is taking over or is a part of them. Looks pretty convient. Dunno. Just thowing this out there.

wow. So they will be employing proper pharmacists? I use my doctor's pharmacy -if anything goes wrong then they are right next to the GPs who will need to deal with the fall out.

hmm, apparently Amazon bought a company called pill pack - isn't it a bit iffy sending certain meds via couriers - like opiates and the like?

I have seen this too. It seems to work like any other pharmacy except it is mail ordered rather than 'in person' - it certainly makes amazon (which is becoming this more and more) a one stop shopping place.

Oh yea, not sure what they would do about opiates. When I was employed with Amazon, they had this convenient mail order service called Express Scripts. My Pdoc had to give me a hand written script for clonazepam though since it was a controlled substance. I had to pick up my clonazepam locally and they would not mail order it. Not sure if Pill Pack gets around the laws in the US about mailing controlled or with couriers.

They don't fill Schedule II drugs...that can be a big problem for some people...anything that has to be walked into a pharmacy on a paper script they don't fill.

I think these things are great for people who struggle with memory like myself....

I just use a dosette but I can imagine at some point turning to having medication pre dosed for me..... xo

Another great little gadget it the medicine caps that have a timer built in to them. They aren't that expensive and you can get them at any drugstore or Wal-mart. I know Rite-aid(Walgreens) sales them.

just a thought.

Yes I’ve seen lots of commercials for it. Problem is my dosages change every couple of weeks so it would be too much of a pain

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
