I have lotsa tattoos.Skulls on my wrists, my chest pc,my Munsters 1/2 sleeve, A human heart w/bat wings and social D lyrics,A dragon that goes down my spine and a skull w/cherry blossoms on the back of my neck.I cannot wait to get more!!!!
Keep in mind that this would be completely out of character for me and would have been something I would have definitely regretted. I'm SO GLAD my husband stopped me!
I was going to get them, though!
Maybe I am naive, oh wait, Prince Albert?!? OOOWWWWW!
All my tats mark a turning point in my life.
My first, shortly after I turned 18. An ankh with roses. It was pure rebellion.
My second, A large black butterfly on the small of my back. (yeah, a tramp stamp. but I had one before they became popular) I was 2 mos sober and needed to DO something that would get my adrenaline going. The butterfly turned out to be prophetic.
My third was a chinese kangi on my left wrist. It stands for Earth and is covering the scars from slitting my wrist. I had just found my dad and was moving across the country. It was a time of fresh starts, renewal. The earth heals itself, and so would I.
My fourth, a tribal butterfly on the base of my neck, just above my shoulder blades. I got it to hurt myself. I was very self destructive at the time. Turns out it is my favorite tattoo.
Tats and piercings for me are all about the pain involved in the process. I love it. It makes me feel alive. It is a total aphrodisiac as well. I don't have any current piercings and only four tats. But I have an addition to my last one planned. I want to add the names and birthdates of all three of my kids.
Tats mark change in my life and I think all body art is beautiful.
