Is my Dr. A wacked out freak and do I need to switch?
Or does she know what she's talking about?
She prescribed me paxil at night to curb my fears
of being afraid of the dark?
Should I trust her-or should I find a new shrink,
I been in the unit 2 times within 6 months for irrational thinkinking
The er Dr had me on lithium but that made me sick to my stomach
so I had to stop taking it because when I came out and they raised the dose I was constantly loosing my lunch or whatever I ate that day and throwing up the pills as well,
Although it worked wonderfully I can't take it.
Currently I take
75 mg topomax = taking it for migrane headaches-don't notice anything mood wise while on this drug but it works wonders at keeping those nasty headaches away.
10 mg navane for voices and other psychotic things like irrational thinking
4 mg Risperdal taking that for psychosis as well.
And 1000 units of Depakote in 250 mg pill form.
once am once noon once pm
Now they want to add Paxil?
Are they trying to kill me?
I take two meds that cause respiratory depression already
Is it their point to make me die so they don't have to deal with me and my problems anymore?
My Dr. Won't even accept the Diagnosis that the dr in the psych ward gave me. And I can't even get the two dr's to talk to each other.
And the dr who saw me in the psych unit isn't accepting new patients.
At least when I call the secretary at the front desk says that he's accepting new patients and they transfer me to his secretary to switch-- The shrinks secretary always tells me no They aren't accepting new patients.
I only have the guidance center to go to--
I am not getting the propper care-
But I get an SS! check from 35-220 per month it all varies
depending on Hubby's work schedule.....
Would the manager be able to switch me to the Dr I want to see?
Is it even worth contacting the manager and bitching about treatment?

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

Paxil is the med from HELL
But what should I do?
There is no way I'm going back up in the unit-Finally had a bad experience in the unit to not want to go back there ever again!
And my current shrink keeps reffering me to the unit and won't even give raising my AP a try.
welcome back btw
