Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I have heard of people getting back ups (I used to belong to a cpap group online) so that if the power went out they would not have an issue but I do not know what they used.
You might try looking online for cpap groups and investigate their archives if it is possible or join the group and ask.
Last time I belonged to the cpap group here it was not extremely helpful to me. Just my .02.
I will say that on questionable nights I do not wear it. I have been on cpap for years and can say that I have only had 2 or 3 questionable nights one of which wasn't really questionable. The power was out and two tornados hit the town I lived in at the time.
Good luck to you.
I never thought about questionable nights. I have a full face mask and mine does have little holes in it but I don't know if they would help during a power out.
Part of the problem also is that I can not feel the air pressure any how once the mask is on. I guess it's one that breaths with me so I can't tell unless I lift the mask off.
I will try to look around. So far I couldn't find the answer on google.
If you can't feel the pressure anymore that is a good thing because you are use to it. The new machines do start patterning your breathing after a while and will do what it can to make you comfortable. If you have an auto machine then the pressures will change while you are sleeping to help you when you need it.
These "blowers" are very smart and amaze me.
That makes me feel a little better. It amazes me too what technology can do these days.
I love that avatar btw.
