Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
You will get there, try to see it as if there is no other way.........this is the average way and not having bp is unusual or uncommon. It just IS!!!!!
When I was working for a group of OB-GYN docs I knew a great deal about the field so whenever something female went wrong with me, I had a difficult time accepting it......I just knew too much. Maybe it is the same for you with your education.....makes it more difficult to accept and process. Denial is difficult too, read and understand and stay around here. I think you will come through it, it takes time. It doesnt happen over night sweetie. Hugs
i have been on and off so many different meds and i'm 18 and i don't feel like an 18 year old should have to try so many meds.
i have accepted it though. it doesn't seem fair, but i guess that's just how it goes. it really sucks though, but there are always good days that are even good to us than other people. that's something i always look forward to.
it's hard, and i worry a lot about what will happen when i get older but i just need to learn to deal with it as best i can.
good luck with accepting it.
and i am starting college next year and i'm going to be a psychology major too. i'm excited. 8]
