Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I do genuinely hope they get help but doubt that they will. In reality I know practically nothing about them, and my level of care is minimum at best.
I guess my question is why did I do it? Was it real concern? Am I making a minimal attempt at making a difference in the world? Or am I just filling up time due to boredom?
And did I really do the right thing? Or did I just do something stupid that will come back to bite me in the ass?
Be kind to yourself..you did a good thing
I realize I am in the minority here and people are giving you support for being a caring person, and that's all great. But - I think mental illness is like any other personal issue, private except for those we choose to share it with.
Putting a post on a board is an open invitation for others to say what they think about your issue. But unless a person opens a door like that, it's polite to knock first.
