I've seen these at Target! You're right, they're very creepy, but SO compelling. My friend and I couldn't stop playing with them

You're right jess that's probably the creepiest thing about them. That and the fact that they have teeth inside that mouth. Lets the imagination run wild.

Oooh, we didn't see one with teeth! That would be the equivalent of the scary clown.

Also, the one we saw sang "Oh My Darlin' Clementine," which is a song I found creepy even as a child. (Even at six or seven I thought 'really? Are you people sure this is a children's song?' Because I'm scared out of my mind right now, and I know for sure I'm not sleeping tonight...)

Hubby and I and the dog got one for Christmas. Blue for hubby -- sings "Oh when the saints come marching in." Pink for me -- sings "Skip to my Lou." Purple for the dog -- sings " A Tisket, A Tasket."

They are soooo funny. The dog and I never fail to roll around on the floor laughing. For a 50 year old, hubby has lost his inner child, but Sweet Rose and I are working on him.

I know they are ugly and creepy but until you play with one (two actually one is kind of useless) you don't realize how much fun they are to play with. And I have no idea how they harmonize. But some how magically they do. You put two together and they do it on their own. But if you have them separated a bit (like across the room) you will hear them doing their own thing. I can not figure out how these work. Plus some of them sound weird like the red one. LOL

And I know some one asked so...

they are not expensive at all they are around 10$ last time I checked but that is still too much for me. I'm really really poor.

Alright I know people are probably ready to move on from this topic but I can not find the one thing I want to know. I want to know how the hell do they harmonize. If they are across the room they wont harmonize but if they are next to one another they some how magically know. So how do they work? I really want to know what is the secret that I can't find out?

Also I keep seeing various websites talking about how cute they are. Are they blind? These are incredibly creepy looking! That is the one complaint I have about them. They could have designed them better in the looks department. Honestly when I see their mouths and even more creepy their teeth it inspires night mares. It also inspires perverted thoughts. What the hell were they thinking making them look like that? But maybe their creepiness is also adorable I don't know.

Doorknob, I totally agree with ya on the mouth thing. Does kinda look perverted.
