Not sure why I felt a need to post this but here it is. Anyone who is a pet owner knows the connection and love one shares with their pets. They become family members. What I am curious about is what makes your pets unique? What funny and or weird things do they do to get your attention? My cat (Edgar) likes to open cabinet doors throughout the house. He likes to sit on the filing cabinet next to the computer and just stare at me as if to say "pet me asshole" he,he. These are just two of the many things he does that makes me smile and be thankful we are together. Just thought I would share.

oh a great opportunity to share what happened today!! we went grocery shopping, and were unloading the bags from the car - we always just put them on the kitchen floor - we made another run out to the car, came back, and Duncan had his head in the bag of raw meats!

My other guy, Starbuck, we trained like a dog... so he's out little cat-dog. We take him outside and everything.

My puggle snorts and does this bizarre thing where she drags herself in circles around the circular rug in the living room by her arms! It looks like she's swimming. And of course at breakfast, before food and with tea, she sits at the table with us in her own chair, just shooting the breeze with us, just like another human being. She's a love!

Rascal is such a cute wee thing... He loves to kiss and snuggle... He fetches and loves his toys.... He and the my landlords cat are pretty good pals to... Cozette comes down every morning for me to give them each a treat
All they want is to please us and for us to love them... How special is that?...x

My little Yorkie is thankfully much better from last week when he scared the hell out of me. He has a incurable disease that can make him real sick. He is the love of my life, the son I never had my piece of sunshine in my day.

He has what they call small dog syndrome, my bff has a huge dobie and they will do Eskimo kisses whenever it looks like no one is looking.

People who hurt animals lack part of their souls.

My Jasmine cat, loves to play with her shoe string. When she wants to play she brings it to me. She also likes to get in the cupboards and bang the doors.

My Moose (who is dying) gets very affectionate and lays down in my face and pushes his paws in my eyes (ouch) and tries to nibble my nose. Then he'll start talking and I ask him questions like "how ya feelin' Moose' and he answers in a voice that sounds like "eh.." or he chatters because I'm feeding the other cat first and he's pissed. He really sounds pissed. I just get such a kick out of his talking.

I love these stories!!!

Penelope the little gray cat just LOVES to be brushed everyday. She's my PTSD feral kitty who doesn't like to he held, but after she gets a good brushing she cuddles and purrs for about five minutes as if to say, THANK YOU HUMANS for rescuing me! She is also mesmerized by reflections on walls.

I have two dogs, a shihzhu and a rottweiler. My shihzhu hates the happy birthday song. She knows it's coming when you light the candles on the cake and she starts barking then :-)

My rotti loves to be pet and if I stop petting her, she'll knudge her head into my hand to make me keep petting her. She thinks she's a lap dog and she's 120lb :-)

I love them so much!

Our Sasha is a Maine Coon, or as we call her, a cog. She fetches. Honest to goodness, she loves to fetch. She looks like a cat, but she will twist into the strangest positions to sleep...and she loves to hang out with me when I cannot sleep. She is a rescue cat, so I feel very close to her. She plays only when she feels like it, but stays pretty close by me.

Great stories! I have a Rottie like Rosie. :-)

He thinks he's a lap dog and tries to climb up and sit on my lap, all 110 lbs. He also likes to follow me around room to room as I go about the day. He chases his tail and pounces on his own shadow. Hates the vacuum cleaner.

Until recently, Rotties didn't have tails because they would dock them. Now they leave the tail alone. He has the funniest expressions. He's beautiful and majestic looking but a total goofball at heart.

We have two dogs and a cat. Maddie, Max and Macy. Maddie and Max are the dogs and they are best buds. Maddie likes to rub her butt across the carpet then Max follows behind to sniff what shes got gowing on there lol. My cat Macy likes to hide on the side of the couch and when the dogs walk but she like a attacks them from behing like a lion catching an antelope on animal planet! The dogs are so much bigger than her but she runs everything!

When I have my baby turtle out of her tank, she always needs to be right with me. No matter where I put her she always scurries right back to me and burrows herself into me and falls asleep.

Last night I gave her some water to drink and she started playing with it by filling her mouth up with water and then spitting it all over the place, it was funny and cute to watch.

Moose likes to climb the ladder to the upper bunk bed and hid in the comforter. Then I have to go in and say "Where's my Moosie'"? and he'll pop his head up!

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
