OT Made up memories

When my babchi (polish for grandmother) passed away several years ago one of the things that I got from her house was a rocking chair. I love that chair. So many fond memories of her and spending time with her are attached to this chair. I feel so lucky to have it. Edgar (my cat for those who don't know) also loves this chair. Just now I was looking at him in the chair and I had a visualization of my babchi sitting in the chair and Edgar sitting on her lap. I really think she would have liked him. Naturally this never happened but having that visualization brought a big smile to my face. Theres really no point to this post, I just wanted to share that happy moment with you all.

I have my grand-mre's old green chair in my apartment and I sat in it every day recovering from my surgery and I swear it felt like she was hugging me each day, telling me everything was gonna be ok!

Hey Pagan what a cool moment. I totally believe that our loved ones who have passed on come tovisit us in different ways. I think maybe what you saw could have been real. I also believe that animals can sense spirits even more than we can and maybe your kitty already knows your grandmother from when she comes to check on you and sit in her chair. Just a thought. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah Pagan, I do that too..visualize it. It's fun isn't it?
When I'm washing dishes I picture my mom and sister sitting at the kitchen table and I'm telling them jokes and they're hysterically laughing! It makes me so happy!

That's a lovely thing Pagan! I believe energy attaches itself to inanimate objects big time. I have a blanket that my grandmother made that I sleep with every night and it makes me sleep well to know her hands have been all over that blanket with love and hard work. The cotton batting is coming out of it and I still can't get rid of it and know I never will. She's been gone 18 yrs. now and I had it way before she passed.
