Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I have decided to post this for the benefit of any one in need
This is a link to Milton Hershey School it is a free school for families with low income , low resources and great need.
They do work with parents who suffer from mental illness (in fact that is a social need which will help you cause)
This is offered nation wide but it is noted that preference is given to the counties listed on the web page which I have linked. Still if any one has children and they worry about their illness interfering with their parenting skills then this could be of great help to you. It is a very conservative school but it will give your child a safe environment and a high education. You are not giving your child away you can still see them for holidays and over the summer however if you need them to stay at the school for any reason they will keep them over the summer or during holidays. You also get 6 extra week ends during the school year.
You can contact the school (probably the admissions office) and ask them detailed questions which they can answer.

you can enroll as many of your children that qualify. But if one of them does have emotional or behavioral issues you need to discuss that with the school to find out if they qualify or not. They do take children with A.D.H.D. so that is not a problem. Please make sure your children are medicated before they enter the school or they will more than likely be re evaluated and the school is conservative with things like medications. So that is my advice.

Sorry I forgot that there are some people from all over the world on here. :(
But if you do live in the USA this is an option you probably didn't know you had.
