OT/ Happy News!

I put in to adopt a little kitten named Jasmine and I found out today that I got her! She won't be ready until April 22 so it's going to be hard waiting that long.

I lost my beloved 15yr old Lucy cat in December and have been grieving since. I'm hoping that having a baby kitty around will lift my spirits some.

Did you get her a bed? A few cat toys? Food bowl...water bowl?

Excelente! I would love to have a kitten myself, especially for mouse-hunting purposes, but my Gran went berserk when I was gonna buy a kitten before Christmas.

awe what wonderful news. Yes babies make everything better so she will be a great addition to your home..........I had lost my 13 yr old barney dog in 2011 my friend took me 4 days later to shelters where I keep saying Im not ready im not ready............they put my Bailey puppy in my hands and I was in love with in 15 minutes..........you sound like you are already in love with her......:)

Thanks everyone. I'm going to buy her a bed and toys and I need a new litter box and all that stuff too. It's going to be so much fun. I have a food and water bowl that was Lucy's and they were new so I saved them.
