i just got a community health plan here in wa. it covers some dental i think 500 yr. the plan actually covers more than medicare

If you can qualify for Medicade. they usually cover Dental.

But there are income and Assets limits to qualify for Medicade.

But, I would try the new Obama Care Plan. Go to your local Public Health, or Health and Human Resources, fill out an application.

I was told ,that even thought my assets are higher than the old Medicade qualifications, I may qualify for other assistance

In mi where I live, the local health dept runs a low to no cost dentist that no one in town seems to know about. My Medicaid pays for it, but people who don't have ins go there for cheap as well. Good luck!

I go to VCU dental school - if you have the time, the students do the work, the professors are there, I get superior work for about 30% of regular dentist - and to get set up, your first appt is like $40 for cleaning and X-rays...

Over the last two years I've had my teeth, repair, cleaned, cavities, crown, etc - Same student, it's their last year, and you can have a balance and pay as you go..... just a thought : )

opp's I almost forgot to add that that also included having teeth whiten.

I have Humana supplemental ins in and it indeed covers one cleaning and one filling a year. (Also it has vision coverage.) Since we are in similar areas you might be able to get the same plan?

check out local dental schools...they usually do work for minimal cost. the students have to learn somehow and they are watched over

No school near me with students....

Called about Obama Care and got run around, the lady couldn't even tell me if was an Obama care dental plan.....WTH? Got so confused had to hang up.....ugh

I'm just going to save what I can each month and hope my teeth don't fall out....but hell if they do then I won't have anything to worry about now will I! lol

I am just over the limit for full medicaid am on some time of spend down program which means I have to spend ALOT before I get any help from them. I'm talking a few thousand dollars out of pocket.....so no help there.
