OT: cable or no cable?

Who has it and who doesn't? I'm thinking of cancelling it when our contract is up in April and just going down to Internet to save some money. The problem is I love watching baseball and with not working I'm not sure if I should treat myself to that expense or not.

We have basic and I don't watch on the internet bc me and my mom like to watch tv together. I know lots of people are doing away with it though.

I haven't had cable for almost 15 years! I love watching dumb reruns on broadcast tv and lots of PBS!

I cut the cable cord about five years ago. Have not missed it yet. We set up a simple antennae and get all the locals in high definition. We stream anything else. At first we streamed through a Roku but now we have a smart tv that connects to the internet. Cable had just become ridiculously ridiculous with their price increases. It felt so good to tell them to cut it off.

Basic family cable... very expensive to have mostly crap but wanted local news network and animal planet... ahhh but the best reward for the blood money was finding FX and A&E!!

We just cancelled cable. I am so miserable without it. I find the basic channels very full of low grade tv with violence and bad acting or just painfully boring documentaries.
I know that I can watch on the internet but haven't figured out how.
I have a connector cable for my computer to the tv so once I do, I can get it to look like it is on TV anyway.

We have basic cable AND streaming Netflix. As a family, we love watching TV together and I watch quite a bit of tv/Netflix myself!

i can usually watch sports at friends or church events.

hulu is like having cable and dvr. most the time i had to dvr shows or tape them to see them, yea i have to wait the day after to see them, but it is worth it. I miss some shows though .

We have Basic cable, Netflix, and Amazon tv. I don't work either, but it's an expense we want. If things get really tight we could cut it (we had no tv for 4 years), but we watch it a lot now.

    Mom and I have errands to run this morning. She said we can get sushi for lunch though.  I go back to work today. What are you looking forward to this weekend?
