OT Aldi shopping

I know a lot of people have been posting about financial struggles so I just wanted to share how much money I'm saving grocery shopping at Aldi. I know they're not everywhere but I'm lucky there's one close to me. There is also a bunch of info on Pinterest about shopping there. One girl has examples of $30 weekly shopping trips.

Just wanted to pass this info along :)

Yes, I go to Aldis!! And some of their products are better than name brands. AND...they have excellent croissants!! And Marzipan!

Aldi is awesome!!! Only thing I don't like is their canned green beans. Too stringy. Everything else? Awesome! They have good hummus, and their cat littler is just amazing.

And they pay their employees really well and give them good benefits!

I'll have to check out their hummus! I know a few friends that have certain things they don't care for. I like some of their cereals but some I don't care for. I love their almond milk, fit and active frozen waffles,turkey bacon,their brand nutri grain bars,English muffins,blueberry muffins,etc.

Noted on the green beans lol. Have you tried other canned veggies? I haven't yet.

The closest one to me is 1.5 hours away and across the lake in NY. Bummer.

I'm vexed to see how inexpensive stuff is there and I'm vexed of the mark up at other stores! Lol

There are no Savings style grocers near me.

The closest grocery store is a type of Krogers , not cheap.

And it's 10 miles away !

Target or Walmart are about 15 miles away , and the drive alone is stressful enough with out having to deal with Big Box store lines , noise and the lights are too bright

Aldi is available in England, Scotland, Wales and the Irish State, but not here in Northern Ireland.

We have Lidl instead, who are good for food.

Aldi has good stuff, esp around Christmas time. German goodies. After all Aldis is a German company...good stuff.

Oh yea I love Aldi! We get most of our groceries there now and save a lot of money. I like their produce and fresh pizzas also they have the cheapest milk and eggs ever! Funny thing is though whenever we go to shop I always forget a freakin quarter to get a shopping cart lol!

Love Aldi's and my favorite thing from there that is so addicting is this trail mix they have. It looks mostly orange in the clear bag and it's spicy and sweet is the type but I can't think of the name brand. It is absolutely delicious.

Try the canned asparagus....it's deelish! And in the winter they sell German Stollen!
I always keep a quarter in my wallet for the cart.
