so he can take the kids away
he said he was glad I didn't flip shit on him.
and no I am not crazy or delusional my uncle really is an asshole!
what he said to me was like a kick in the balls! I've never been so betrayed by my family like that before. I'm ready to yank my kids out of school and skip the state
And, yes. Stress can really do you in. I'm sorry you've had a bad time of it and hope that you recover soon!!! (((((Hugs)))))
Can you take some "me-time?"
I have thought long and hard and I am making no rash decisions. I am now in the long processes of quickly acting while I am still healthy enough to. I am also making a plan of what my wishes are in the event that I become too ill to make sound decisions and or care for my children.
I'm glad my uncle did what he did this week end because it brought to my attention that his plan isn't the plan I have for my children. His ideals do not match my ideals. He may be successful but he focuses way to much on money as a standard of success and I do not agree that, that is the only way to be successful.
I also feel that just because he has financial success does not make him a healthy individual or the best choice for a care taker of my children. Because of this realization I am taking very careful and well planned steps to get my children on the right track so they can learn critical thinking skills and healthy decision making. Whether that is from me or some one else I can't say right now.
The major problem I have right now though is I do not have an individual whom I trust to guide my children the same way I would. I have ever confidence that my guidance is superior to every one else's in my family! But I'm crippled by the uncertainty this illness brings us all.
Still I'm highly motivated when it comes to my children. I am searching for resources that allow access to a person who is both responsible and the best choice to do my job as a parent if the horrifying event that I become too debilitated to do it my self should come true. I'm not being negative how ever planning ahead is important.
