Cannot say hallucination, but smell is a very tricky sense.
It is hooked directly to the mother board and trigger immediately emotional reactions.
Sometimes you smell it, but is not there? I think actually is there, but is so fain that the 'rational' part says it doesn't

I have had that before. Smoke and chemical smells that no one else smelled that drove me nuts for a while and would sometimes get a metal taste in my mouth. I haven't had that in a long time. Not sure what caused that and haven't had it in a long time. It can sometimes be neurological. I would mention it to your dr. Could also be like a flashback of some sort if you are smelling your ex's cologne. Still check with your pdoc. I never mentioned it to mine because it was before I had a pdoc but it would be interesting to know. Maybe I will ask next time.

Memorys. Have you heard your Mother call out your name & know at same time that that is impossible.
I thought of the 60tys where people paid to feel this way.

Liz. I use to have metal- almond taste always in my mouth. My family didn't have it.
Most of time I could taste the compound in shampoo w/o getting suds on my face & mouth when I washed my hair.
My Dr pointed out white spots on my nails to nurse. I was relieved that it wasn't just me seeing & tasting things that weren't real.
That only set in paranoia. For 2 yrs I was being poisoned. I canceled all insurance on me & divorced. Triggers can set off pc's of memory. Even after being de-tox , Occassionally I use to smell chemical & light sent of almonds that no one else smelt. sigh.
That God my p-doc gave me right meds for me.

Hallucinations make us question ourselves.

i can relate to the smells and the people calling out my name-its not to bad unless its a bill collector!

So if we are in the testimonials...whenever I smoked the real-good-one-never-water-down canavis I kept on smelling it for days.
